If you are a qualified medical practitioner, an individual seeking a career in medicine, or someone interested in assisting with healthcare education, this program is for you. You can contribute to the development of healthcare in Aborlan, Palawan, by either working as a professional in the field or teaching basic first-aid and methods to maintain personal hygiene to the local community.
Step up and make an impact in Aborlan, Palawan, where healthcare needs are urgent and resources are limited. The municipality is on a mission to tackle public health challenges, but with too few healthcare workers, your help is essential. Many people, especially in the rural areas of Aborlan, struggle to afford basic healthcare and rely on the free services offered by the town’s Rural Health Unit/Clinic. This clinic is the main lifeline for those living below the poverty line, and it needs extra hands to improve health conditions and address public health issues.
Many residents of Aborlan’s rural areas lack access to major hospitals and rely on free services from the Rural Health Unit/Clinic. This program aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and education by involving both medical professionals and volunteers in community health efforts.
Participants will contribute by supporting healthcare services, assisting with pre-natal and immunization programs, visiting elderly and sick individuals, and conducting hygiene education sessions for schoolchildren.
The program offers hands-on experience, cultural immersion, and opportunities to make a direct impact on public health. Due to space restrictions, participation is limited to 4-5 individuals at a time to ensure effective engagement. So make sure to book your place early!
We’re looking for both medical professionals and those eager to teach basic first-aid and hygiene. Whether you’re a healthcare expert or simply want to help the community learn essential hygiene practices—like handwashing and brushing teeth—you can play a key role in preventing common health problems. Professionals will lead health camps and dental checkups, while others can help raise awareness in schools and communities, teaching kids life-changing habits that can improve their health now and in the future.

- Provide medical care and assistance in healthcare facilities.
- Support local health workers in pre-natal, post-natal, and immunization programs.
